Every home search is a journey. Sometimes, it’s a sprint, but more often, it’s a marathon—a test of patience, endurance, and dedication. I’m incredibly excited to share the story of my wonderful clients, first-time homebuyers who just closed on their beautiful new home in Warwick, and whose journey to the finish line began with a literal marathon.
Our search began in the fall of 2024, on a crisp autumn morning the week after New York City Marathon. Unbeknownst to me, my client had just completed the 26.2-mile race two days before. We met for the first time at our very first showing, a beautiful two-story home just outside the Village. As we headed to the second floor, I noticed her grab the railing with both hands, slowly and deliberately placing one foot in front of the other. I thought, “Oh no, did she say she needed a ranch?” About halfway up the stairs, she looked at me and, with a tired grin, said, “I just ran the marathon.”
Right then, I knew this would be a journey.
